What you’re left with is ‘Lekar Hum Deewana Dil’, a bland, uninspired concoction that is predictable every step of the way, yet plods on for an unforgivable 2 hours and 20 minutes” 4) Kaanchi kaanchi As Rajeev Masand rightly said: “Remember Saathiya? Take that film and drain out the crackling chemistry of its leads, wipe out every genuinely affecting moment scripted by Mani Ratnam, and ask AR Rahman to come up with a lesser soundtrack than the one he composed then. It had everything one would want in a rom-com… a good looking actor (with acting in his blood and all), a confident and pretty actress, a director whose brother has made some of the finest movies on romance and an Academy Award winning music director whose music has literally saved movies (remember Rockstar?)… yet Lekar Hum Deewana Dil sucked.

What a waste! 2) The Xpose Source: ĭirectly taking the grand party scene from The Great Gatsby aside, The Xpose could have still been a decent murder mystery, if only the leading actors were not Himesh Reshammiya and Honey Singh. Not only was it horrible on so many levels, it was such a waste of talent! I mean imagine, Saif Ali Khan, Ritesh Deshmukh and Ram Kapoor along with Bipasha Basu, Esha Gupta and Tamannah in one movie and you make that into a 2-and-a-half-hour migraine-inducing feature production costing crores. Humshakals was the first movie that popped into my head while writing this.

So here’s a list of the worst movies of 2014 which were universally hated by the audience and critics alike – for good reason! 1) Humshakals Humshakals These movies have not only made us cry (because we spent nearly 3oo bucks watching one movie) but they’ve sometimes made us question our sanity.
